I’m balling on a budget since this sport is stupid expensive — almost all of the cycling equipment I own is second hand from Facebook Marketplace or hand-me-downs from friends, but I like showing up to races with inferior equipment and still competing against homies with all the $10k+ bikes. I snagged this 2021 Canyon Exceed CF7 off Marketplace for $950 but had to drive 4 hours to get it. Upgraded to GX AXS drivetrain and did a Garbaruk cage and pulley wheel upgrade bc I broke the stock cage
